I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm from the Faroe Islands, but now live happily in wonderful Copenhagen - a really great city. I study English and philosophy at the University of Copenhagen. I play the guitar and sing for fun - for my own entertainment. I also write poems every now and then, and I really like to take pictures of different interesting things. I love spending time with good friends, doing things together or talking about crazy stuff like religion/spirituality, life and music - well anything really. I enjoy going to cafés, clubbing, concerts and to the movies etc. I would love to travel a lot more and see the world when I've finished my education. I'm a quite curious person and love to learn something new.

I also like comedies, animated movies (especially by Hayao Miyazaki) and cartoons. I love Eddie Izzard - he's hot!

Television:

Some of my favourite shows are: Six Feet Under, Joan of Arcadia, Lost, Desperate Housewives, The 4400, The Simpsons, Medium and Dexter. I also like to watch documentaries.

Books:

I like to read but I don't have as much time to read as I would like. Mostly I just read books for school. I love Harry Potter and have read all the books. I really like Jane Austen and have read a couple of her books. More favorites: The Wind in the Willows, Winnie-the-Pooh, The Chronicles of Narnia-(yes I like childrens books), Dan Brown - The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Deamons. I love Paulo Coelho's work! So far I've read The Alchemist, The Zahir, The Devil and Miss Prym, Eleven Minutes, Veronika Decides to Die & The Witch of Portobello. A new favourite writer is Jeanette Winterson with her beautiful poetic language.

Heroes:

People who are true to themselves and stand up for what they believe in!
