"On a cool stagnant Autumn day, the 26th of September, 1986, Fróði was born. It is no wonder he became a musician given the fact that music always flourished in his childhood home. Fróði grew up to the sounds of his father, a highly skilled musician, playing guitar, and spent many hours singing with his mother. Both Fróði’s brother and sister are also accomplished singers.
Fróði hails from the Faroe Islands, a small group of 18 islands located in the North Atlantic. Life on the Faroe Islands can be intense with dramatic weather. It is often rainy and windy which surely played a vital role in Fróði naming his debut album, “Creeping Stormâ€.
When asked about the meaning of the title, “Creeping Stormâ€, Fróði calmly answers, “Creeping Storm is a metaphor of fate. It is basically this existential crisis we as human beings suffer. And an acknowledgement of how frail we are and how fast our seemingly steady ground can be shaken.â€...â€We all live in uncertain days. We are all shaken by the hands of fateâ€..........
