Locobrigida is a dub-electronica-reggae-duo
from the suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark.
The people are NANA S (vocals, synths, guitars) and
UMPFF (bass, beats, synths, guitars, production).
The music is a rare-heard blend of retro-reggae, chilled-out
jamaican dub, lounge, downtempo and hookline-driven pop.
The result is a sound that is familiar and new at the same time:
Ear-candy-qualities mix with stoned-out grooves and
everyday-life lyrics with a twist…. not forgetting a healthy dose
of humour and distance to rock’n’roll lifestyle…
