About Me

Anno Domini is the international musical project, whose style is described by many critisists as unique, natural combination of many genres, as classical, jazz, Gypsy, Ukrainian, Oriental and Jewish folk music traditions and rock. The truth is much simpler. The friendship of musicians, poets and painters who represent several cultures at the same time, naturally creates the music, which is their perfect way to communicate. Anno Domini is led by three people. The first one is the lyricist, executive producer, manager and idea maker– Boris Zakharov. His philosophy and his lyrics inspired two other members of the band to do, what they do: Marina Zakharova, his companion, singer, classicaly trained piano player and composer with Jewish-Persian-Gypsy roots and deep knowledge of Gypsy and Ukrainan folklore and Dima Gorelik, Israely jazz musician, guitar player, composer and arranger. Anno Domini released four albums for today. The last one is recorded with participation of many musicians from Israel (both Jewish and Arabic), Ukraine, the Crimea (Tatars) Azerbaijan and the US.
