Order Lucky's CD online now @ itunes or at CD Baby !Lucky was an American Indie Rock band located in Chandler Arizona. They were intialy made up of 4 members: Jeff Lockridge, Matt Mahler, Mark Mason, and Mike Vigil. They all came together in the begining because Mark was looking for a back up band for a solo show he was playing in Tucson Arizona; however, Mark yielded his solo aspirations because of the bands intense chemistry and they became a full fledge band. For half of their life they performed as that four peice. They progressed quickly and were able to play on local morning show Good Morning Arizona, record an E.P., and build a spread their music around phoenix area. For the latter half of their life they performed as a three peice and continued to spread their sound around town. All the members brought in a unique approach to the music, but they all come together to create a singular sound. With influences as diverse as The Smashing Pumpkins, Marvin Gaye, The Deftones, and The Beatles they are able to paint with a large palate of sounds. Both subtle and grandiose in their vision they used big soaring melodies with lots of energy and rhythmic complexity.
