Winchovski Trio is a project of 3 students of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. After a year of warming up at school, they recorded a small demo at the Crabhouse Basement in March 2008. The songs on the demo are compositions by Lucien Fraipont. He won the prize for best group with "La Nue" and best soloist on the Jazzcat Rally 2007 of JazzOlive. The trio is influenced by greats such as John Scofield, Bill Frisell, Jesse Van Ruller and many other jazzcats.
