"There Will Be Fields For Us" (MAP027)
This is our most recent album. We sold it this past summer on our 45 day tour with Dustin and the Furniture. We're pretty happy with it. Most of the songs are upbeat and positive...usually reflecting on traveling, friendships, trying really hard not to be bored, and other things of a similar nature.
This is a split release from Oh! Map Records as well as Dustin Goldklang's new label, Sweet Now Records. There are 5 different colors. Yuri made all of them with some help from his friends in his backyard in Maryland in June of 2007.
7$
"We Were Found in the Foundations" (MAP025)
"It began with the dishes piled up in the sink, the withered books left open in the living room, the bed sheets waiting to be made, though we knew they never would be. Before that there was the overdose, the suicide, the 12 year old daughter left, an orphan, in the wilderness of rural Maine. It ended with the exploration, gutting, and burning of the house down to the brown Earth, revealing only the foundation, from which all buildings rise. The ashes of the wood then returning to the very ground that gave birth to the family's home."
3-5 bucks, is cool.
"Don't pick the fruit if you don't know where the roots are going." (MAP021)
“This is our first attempt at a full length album. Its pretty much some of the first songs we’ve written together. It kinda sucks, but its kinda nice. A lot of the songs are about being young, anticipating the coming summer, friends, and family. We packaged these in brown paper bags, and then painted the covers and insides of the bag with trees and clouds and the sun. The twig thing about the whole brown paper bag packaging, aside from it being super cheap, is once you’re down with the semi-cool CD, you can turn the paper bag into a sweet hand puppet!yes!†for a more cohesive review, check out this website.
5 bucks or so...i guess.
