About Me

hi.

now and later

My Interests

drawing portraits as landscapes, reading and listening to music and drawing some more, dancing, taking photos, gold and silver friends, knitting kittens' mittens, sewing seeds and mending fields, living, dying and decay, eleven dimensional travel cruises, erecting portable obelisks, freeing odalisques, building a better see-saw,winking, blinking, and nodding, admiring astral projectors, transcending the plain and travelling planes, sorting moderately obsessive collections, dreaming constantly, writing dreadful poetry, oscillating, blending and smudging, pressing start and pressing play. i have collected vintage clothing, bizarre ephemera, records, cherished correspondence, and odd kitchen things for many moons...hmmm...i might be watching captain kangaroo while i design fur pouches made of green genes...cursing at bush while i boil macaroni...hören zum Wagner, während ich meinen Fußboden scheuere....trying to shrink violets with my tv eye...making dough animals by candlelight...i am a quiet person who loves great distraction...i don't know where i want to live because i haven't been there yet...changes in scenery are great catalysts...

I'd like to meet:

"Anyone who wants to know the human psyche will learn next to nothing from experimental psychology. He would be better advised to abandon exact science, put away his scholar's gown, bid farewell to his study, and wander with human heart through the world. There in the horrors of prisons, lunatic asylums and hospitals, in drab suburban pubs, in brothels and gambling-hells, in the salons of the elegant, the Stock Exchanges, socialist meetings, churches, revivalist gatherings and ecstatic sects, through love and hate, through the experience of passion in every form in his own body, he would reap richer stores of knowledge than text-books a foot thick could give him, and he will know how to doctor the sick with a real knowledge of the human soul." - Carl Jung

Music:

music is sacred, inspiring and a constant companion. i am open-minded and lend an eager ear. i love works from every genre and era and honor musicians/composers/artists who are because they is. i was born the morning of the summer solstice, 1973. i am a cancimini; i am partial to all sorts...

Movies:

i love to see something i haven't ever seen. i love films...something from every genre. i love documentaries, but, so many are so damned depressing. subversive, severe, surreal, shocking, silent, campy, rousing, sublime and serene...film is like water that i drink with my eyes.

Television:

moon phases

Books:

i love philosophy...religious texts, mythology, metaphysics, old popular mechanics and strange 'how-to' books for dated/obsolete crafty projects. i enjoy science fiction. i love poetry and admire the workings of colorful, rambling minds...transcendentals, shaman, bar flies, conjurers, creeps, street prophets and vagabonds. art history. biographies. i collect pop-up books and love children's literature.
Your Brain's Pattern
You have a tempered, reasonable way of thinking.
You tend to take every new idea in, and meld it with your world view.
For you, everything is always changing. Each moment is different.
Your thinking process tends to be very natural - with no beginnings or endings. What Pattern Is Your Brain?

Heroes:

many, although the need exceeds the supply. there is always someone new and always someone forgotten. i change these photos often...
