JamShred guitarist & tone connoisseur

About Me

As a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, keys, vocals, programming) & producer in the Devner-Boulder, Colorado area, I’m a musician with a voracious appetite for good music of any genre (though sylistically speaking, my heart is trapped somewhere in the world between Jamiroquai, Van Halen King’s X and Phish. . In addition to my local studio and sideman work, when my schedule permits I can also be seen playing guitar with NYC’s own Suspicious Brown. In previous lives I was the guitarist in Hoboken, New Jersey’s Jackson Observer, a member of New Brunswick, NJ funk sensation Barbuda, heavy-groove project Waves on Mars and the Medeski Martin and Wood inspired Thique. I’m a self-confessed tone junkie and am completely obsessed with all things guitar and music related.
So what is "JamShred" you ask? For me its the music that I want to hear......to have the grooves and intricacies of jamband and funk-related music but to have the full on in your face rock guitar that made classic 70’s and 80’s era music so guitar-centric. What can I say.....I’m infatuated with creating the music that I don’t hear on the radio. Hey, somebody has to do it!
