Suspicious Brown was born in a refugee camp in North Africa, seventh son of a revolutionary guerilla general in Algeria. When his father was forced into exile, all of Sus_B's siblings were scattered around the world for their own protection. Little is known about Sus_B's upbringing, except that he was raised by intellectuals in France and was studying Literature at the Sorbonne when his identity was exposed and he was forced to go into hiding."In the year 2 G's and 1," as he tells it on the eponymous track, Brown found himself living and working in the Northeast Corridor, always on the run, and always fighting for the environment and the oppressed everywhere. In 2006, Brown joined forces with Funk Bassist Dr. Damian Peters, whose wild and original compositions gave voice to his own developing views on current geopolitics and life on the run.The result is an incendiary mash-up of afrobeat, funk, and reggae which hits listeners in the brain and the neck. From Algeria to America, Suspicious Brown will save the world from itself or die trying.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
