Jared Johnson

Jared Johnson is a saxophonist based in Denver, CO. A native of Madison WI, he performs frequently with various musical groups including the Jared Johnson Trio, Tempa and the Tantrums, and Tito Del Bario Malaga. Locally, Johnson has shared the stage with Matt Fuller, Bob Rebholtz, Todd Reid, Bill Larson, Serafin Sanchez, Chris Lawhead, Jean-Luc Davis, Aakash Mittal and many others. He has also performed at the 2005 Montreux Jazz festival in Montreux, Switzerland and the 2004 South by Southwest music festival in Austin, TX.Jared, along with Jean-Luc Davis, is the co-founder of the Community Jazz Workshop, a youth jazz program held at Popplers Music in Grand Forks, ND.
