About Me

If you're looking for the guy that produced "Hillstreet Blues", that ain't me. Though we both share the same name, I'm the guy that produces films. I also run a company called The Asylum. Most of my films run on The Sci-Fi Channel every Thursday and Saturday -- but you can also see them by walking into your local video store.

My Interests

I'm the happiest pessimist I know.

I'd like to meet:

You. Drop me a line, ask a question...if I'm around the board, I'll answer. I love talking to new filmmakers (or more specifically, my replacements).

Music:

I enjoy everything but Chinese Opera. Sorry to all of the Cai Qingling fans out there.

Movies:

The real list would be movies that I hate...since there are so few. I find that I enjoy most movies (even the bad ones).

Television:

I'm TV obsessed...and TIVO has only enabled my addiction. I am not a snob enough to think that film is superior to TV. I think that it's amazing that shows like THE WEST WING or THE DAILY SHOW can constantly entertain on a weekly/daily basis. I'm in awe of the incredible talent out there. I know I couldn't do it.

Books:

Books? Does TV Guide count? See my response to TV.

Heroes:

People who actually contribute in a positive way (no, I'm not including me -- that's why they're heroes).

Finding an Audience for Your Film
