Madecipha(pronounced mad-e-cipha) began writing poetry when he was a child.Always into music,he began writing "horror" raps as a teenager for most kids in his town were into techno and he didnt fit in with any crowd.He grew up on Psychopathic Records, and he will give them most recognition for his main influence.He is influenced by tons of styles of music, just not techno.sorry.
Madecipha is native to "the devil state",Connecticut.CT is dubbed "the devil state" due to 30 locations in our state with the evil one’s names.Several devil rocks,hell’s hollow road,a state park called devil’s hopyard,2 state parks called satan’s kingdom,devil’s den,devil’s island and many more.

Madecipha is a member or Modifi Sci.The duo consisting of Madecipha and Luminol call their music "para horror hip hop".The duo takes evp’s (white noise) from their ghost investiagtions and mixes it in their beats,resulting in sampling the dead.They are groundbreaking with this.Madecipha is reknowned in the feild of spirit photography.He is currently working on a book of his first hand experiences from ghost investigations and publishing his photos.There are barley any books like that availble.He has photos of native americans on horsebacks,the now locally famous "demon photos" taken in Bara-Hack with 18 entities incuding demons holding skulls,pig man from guntown cemetary and many more.
They have played with numerous national acts such as: Talib Kweli,Tech n9ne,Swollen Members,Wolfpac,Blaze ya Dead Homie,Anybody Killa and more.They have played with local acts in CT such as : Mr Freeze,Kineticlik,Donnie Menace,Kyrptik,Fury,Eidolon,6sided die,5:am,Issues,Nada-Lez and more.They have played venues such as :Toad’s place,Webster theatre,Cafe 9,the Space,The puppethouse and more.
Besides music and ghosts,Madecipha works in a historic cemetary,runs an urban nature center/rescue where he educates children on exotic reptiles and cares for them, and is a self taught artist.He has art galleries coming up soon where he will have many of his photos,paintings and sculptures for sale.
Modifi Sci is done writing their debut and very much anticipated album called "Eyes Wide Open".It will be ready by Christmas.He is also working on his solo album,"Word iz Bond".It is almost finished being written.
