My career in the music business started when I was just a young lass (13 yrs young). I worked as a "counter girl" at a local music store selling clarinet reeds, guitar strings, and among other things grandfather clock oil (go figure!). After that I worked for Numark - starting as a simple customer service rep and then working my way up to National Accounts Manager. It was a great job, I met a lot of great people, and travelled extensively. That's where I first met Terry Hunter. I had the priveledge of flying Terry to Los Angeles to be a clinician for us at a NAMM show. I also introduced him to Mr. Chow on that trip. I loved that job. But everything changes and almost always it changes for the better. I took a year off - planned my FABULOUS wedding - and then took a job as assistant to Kenny Dope. Kenny did forewarn me that I was in for a challenge as his two record labels, demanding travel schedule, and studio sessions would basically have me working around the clock. Did I listen? Hell no! The first few months were enough to make a grown man cry! In the end I got control over everything and am proud to say we have two very successful record labels. Not content with enjoying some free time on the weekends I again crossed paths with Terry Hunter and am now managing him. Terry co-wrote the Raheem DeVaughn hit single "You" and is also collaborating with Rhymefest, but that's only when I don't have him touring the world DJ'ing.
