My name is Matt Glickstein and I'm a songwriter and composer. I recorded "Set the Dog Free" in my home studio using Logic pro 7. The demo got passed along to Dog and those associated with him. He loved the song, and his wife Beth said she wanted it up on www.dogthebountyhunter.com. I've been working with Bigfish media, and they've gotten the song to iTunes. There is a link to iTunes from the Dog's page and right above this. Fifty percent of the proceeds will go to the Dog's legal defense fund. They deserve all our support!

The other most recent recordings were all done in my home studio, and are works in progress. However, they serve as pretty decent demos. If you are interested in any of the songs, please contact me for more information.

50 percent goes to Dog's defense fund! Help him out!

I'm a recent graduate of University of Redlands and majored in music composition. I'm not looking to sell myself as a singer/songwriter--just as a songwriter. In fact, I'll be starting a business called Songs For U in the near future, where I'll offer to write customized songs for any occasion. Also, if the consumer would like to sing themselves, I'll have it set up so they can record over the internet. More updates coming soon!

All songs on this site are written by me, and there are various different performers(including myself). I like to write in many different styles, but I'd say my main influences have been Elton John, the Beatles, Billy Joel, and Randy Newman. I've written a few choral works (see my website: Fanfare for America, Ave Maria, Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday). I also wrote the music to an original musical, Freshman Follies, which was successfully performed by the University of Redlands from February 16th-18th, 2006. On three performances, a profit was made, and the show was enthusiastically received. One of my long term goals is to write Broadway musicals, so hopefully, Freshman Follies will get me started.

If I'm very lucky, you have read this much and you are a producer or publisher or someone in the music business. If you like what you hear, or even if you don't, PLEASE contact me. Any feedback or advice would be much appreciated. I'm just looking for anything to get me started in this tough business.
