Reggiment

Live and direct from Brooklyn, comes Reggiment aka Reg Wyns. A talented actor/musician, Reggiment had some early independent releases in the 90's with Black L.I.B. The pinnacle of Black L.I.B's success came with the reelease of the single 'K.O.S. The Finest', which featured Ambersunshower. Accompanying the single was the album '732 A.D' which garnered L.I.B some international success resulting in Black L.I.B co-presenting on the UK's MTV Base channel in the summer of 2000. Reg simultaneously developed solo music projects and a successful acting career. He continued to pursue musical opportunities with a multitude of artist from around the world at the same time as acting in major blockbuster movies ( 'Brown Sugar', 'Serendipity' ), Off- Broadway, television series ( 'Law & Order:SVU', 'Homicide' ), and numerous national commercials.Following a rigorous audition process throughout 2002, Reg overcame the odds up against much more internationally established solo rap artists to become the new face of the multi-Platinum selling group from the UK - Us3. He has since recorded with the Us3 for their most recent album Questions, which was released through Sony Japan in 2003. This resulted Reggi being able to add Japan to the list of countries he has toured extensively in alongside the UK, France, Holland and the USA. His involvement with Us3 continues as they prepare for the UK album release in 2004 following the limited edition release of Cantaloop 2004 featuring Reggiment with 6 fresh mixes, including ones by both US hiphop elite producers J Rawls of the Lone Catalysts and Waajeed of Bling47/Slum Village.Reggiment has opened and/or performed support for Angie Stone, Jamiroquai, Joss Stone, The Brand New Heavies, Talib Kweli, Estelle(UK), Dizzee Rascal(UK), Burning Spear, Diggable Planets, Morcheeba, and others.Look for him on a stage or screen near you and give'em a shout here.
