You Are Modernism
You tend to be oriented toward the future and technology.
You like art that signals how the world might change in radical ways.

You prefer art that doesn't follow any rules - even if the art doesn't make much sense.
What Art Movement Are You?
God!! i gotta give him a pound for his work.
(what the fuck with this current state of hip-hop/rap?!) niggas are raping and reaming her, tying her down with chains, wedging clamps in her mouth - impairing her speech, leeching her for the money, stripping her to ass and titties, doping her up with x, y, and z's, inebriating her with henny... but she'll live on. she was raised with a strong foundation. long live hip-hop... (favorites: Common, the duo Black Star (Talib and Mos), Jay Z, MOP, Dilated Peoples, the ROOTS, Rhymefest, the BCC, Ghostface, J Dilla...). i can't forget rock - that has a place in my heart, especially the hard sh*t (Rage Against The Machine, Foo Fighters, System of a Down, Linkin Park, White Stripes, Sevendust, My Chemical Romance, RHCP (esp. the Californication album), Jimi... - ahhh, good sh!t). jazz - dig it much; it keeps me mellow... need it from time to time (older stuff though, like Lady Day, Coltrane, Sir Miles, thelonius monk, Betty Davis, Ms. Simone, Santamaria [folk/latin jazz] - that kinda sh!t). of course, i can't forget soul, both old and new (from Mayfield, Sade, Isaac, the legend B. White, to John Legend, Jaguar Wright, Jilly from Philly, A. Keys and Badu... to name a few). GO SOUL (ya asses would probably still be swimmin' in ya daddy's sack without it)!!! house is in the house... (Timmy Regisford... legend. he mixes, i dance. i'm a late-comer to Quentin Harris' music, but his stuff is cool shit to groove it. others: Kevin Yost, Danny Tenaglia, St. Germain...) you can keep ya country (excuse me... "CUNT-try") - that sh!t ain't flowin wit' me (but it can flow down the toilet after i wipe my ass wit' it).
i dig plenty.
as of late:
(McGruder needs to bring it back, like RIGHT NOW... with Ceasar), Heroes, House, Cartoon Network's Adult Swim shows (Japanese anime, ATHF, the Venture Brothers... nearly all of it), what i can get of the Dave Chappelle show, a lot of NFL, the CW11 morning news... (what else?) oh yea... i do watch a bit of public access cable TV. that's about it. (Note: i wish Star and Bucwild had a TV show.)
i tend to gravitate toward a lot of Black awareness books, "conspiracy" books (or books that that uncover many underlying truths...), and books that can help me. books such as: From Babylon to Timbuktu, The Secret Architecture of Our Nation's Capital, Behold a Pale Horse, and then there's Black's Law Dictionary (not just to read it, though). not to say i don't read anything else... (i do dive into a bit of fantasy from time to time.) i just find more to be gained in reading works based on truths and "perceived truths."
