About Me

The Women's International Perspective, The WIP, is a comprehensive news website of women contributors from around the world who report world news, opinion, and commentary. Our mission is to provide quality news from the unique perspectives of women, accessible worldwide and free to readers.

The WIP seeks to balance the well-documented under-representation of women journalists, as well as to become a leader in online news...and foster dialog and bring divergent cultures, opinions, and ideas together.

Our news stories offer a more humanistic view than traditional news stories; they are concerned with the impact of events as they unfold.

Our writers now represent a collective of 64 women who hail from over 25 countries - from Argentina to Zimbabwe! They provide comprehensive news coverage on issues and events that face us globally.
