About Me

Born and raised in Islington (Norfsides London Ghetto), Joe London acquired his passion for all sounds electronic at an early age. Inspired by his older brother's early Jungle and Hardcore sounds, it wasn't long before he first experienced the real thing at the infamous 'Jungle on Ice' raves at the Sobel Centre (Norfsides). And so began the process of turning Joe London into the man he is today...... He started out with mixing House 'n' Garage inspired by the likes of DJ EZ (Freek FM 101.8). It wasn't long before his tastes refined somewhat and he moved onto Drum 'n' Bass, where his Djing skills took him to such illustrious clubs as Bagleys, Heaven, 333 and many more. And this was all at the tender age of 16!! Whilst in college he turned his hand to promoting. Primarily running Drum n Bass and Hip Hop nights - 'THE NEXT LEVEL' working alongside DJ Clocker (Equalizers). Never Content, Joe London and Clocker worked tirelessly on a legal radio station called Bounce FM, broadcasting from Old Street in September 04. Tired of simply playing the records Joe London decided it was high time he started making them, and put his mind to production. He first started honing his music making skills at Alchemea college of Audio Engineering (Norf London innit!) before he won a place CM (www.cmsounds.com) where the likes of Ctrl Z and the Breakfastas had gone before him. Joe London is the new sound of London town.... He's proper bo I tell thee! Watch this space. ..
