infernal desire machine

Wow! A virgin whore!

About Me

think of me as the lovechild between a cylon and a monican agent. i'm here to keep things in balance and serve as a protector of free will. i'm a multi-media freak (from highbrow to guilty pleasure) i can't stand the status quo. i can't stand things that are plain. i believe my environment is a reflection of myself (so, yes my desk is messy but it's cluttered with lovely things). music is a key factor in my life but i can't listen to just anything. i think top 40 is for people who have no imagination. i don't understand people who don't read books. i grew up in socal so i have fits of vapidity but never for too long. think of me as an adventure not a challenge. i subscribe to e.m. forster's philosophy "only connect". so if you feel like connecting, all you need do is ask.

My Interests

reading, writing, watching television (no network tv for me, thanks! reality tv is theatre for the unimportant) dancing (but alas, you can't get truly good dance music outside of s.f.),filling an empty book with terrible verse, afternoon naps in my hammock, taking a hike, going for a swim, trying to find meaning in subversive entertainment, but my number one passion is film.

I'd like to meet:

ray bradbury, elizabeth fraser and angus oblong but who am i kidding? i'd like to meet people who do what they say and say what they do; people who say what they are and are what they say; people who aren't afraid to express emotions no matter how overwhelming they may be; people who can be as silly as they are serious...or just an fb. whatever.
