I have the patience to trust my own journey. Life is going to unfold as it should because life alway

About Me

I have come to terms with two things in my life: 1) I am here to change the world, 2) My heart will constantly be broken as I work at number 1. Sounds odd, but this is me in a nutshell and it is true of everything I do.~~~I have been involved in theatre since high school and had a passion for it long before that. This led to an appreciation for all arts. Honestly the arts drive me crazy. Artists are annoyingly disorganized for one thing and I also hate that the job of convincing people to partake of the arts is unending. But then, the arts are everything I am.~~~I'm a freelance writer with a theatre column Orlando Home & Leisure magazine called Scenes to be Seen and a theatre column in Watermark called Wilde's Child.~~~Oh yes, one more thing. I recycle and I'm not interested in hearing your conspiracy theories about it doing no good.

The Two Headed Monster.

It is probably fruitless to ask you to read this blog without getting emotional. Politics are emotional. I get plenty emotional when I talk about them, so believe me I would understand if you did. Wh...

My Green Day No. 12: Suntea

I love pickles. I buy the big jar of them. The one gallon jar with the big pickles in it -- you know the one. Inevitably the cashier or the bagger will make the comment of "someone sure like...

08-09 Broadway Across America Orlando Season

Lesson of the day: if you want to keep your season a secret, don’t share it with high school age students. I attended the Broadway Across America Orlando season announcement today, which I was e...

My Green Day No. 11: Brick in the Toilet

One of the funny things I did on my recent move was to take the brick from my toilet and bring it to the new place. Funny that putting a brick in the toilet would be a sentimental thing, but brin...

Below is a message I sent to Printworks. "Paper is our passion," they tell me. Providing the post-consumer recycled paper is a step, but you’ll see the reason for my inquiry. I’ll let...
