All things arise from the Tao
The Way has no true shape, and therefore none can control it. If a ruler could control the Way all things would follow in harmony with his desire, and sweet rain would fall, effortlessly slaking every thirst.The Way is shaped by use, but then the shape is lost. Do not hold fast to shapes but let sensation flow into the world as a river courses down to the sea.
The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.
Is the action of nature not unlike drawing a bow?
What is higher is pulled down, and what is lower is raised up;
What is taller is shortened, and what is thinner is broadened;
Nature's motion decreases those who have more than they need and increases those who need more than they have.
It is not so with Man. Man decreases those who need more than they have and increases those who have more than they need.
To give away what you do not need is to follow the Way.
So the sage gives without expectation,
Accomplishes without claiming credit,And has no desire for ostentation.

KALX and lots of other stuff. Right now I am particularly into Cromeo, Crystal Castles, Panda Bear's new record, the "Minneapolis sound", The Mary Jane Girls, vintage synths (my new Formanta EMS-01 ) and all around 8-bit style.
I think my favorite three movies are old standbys like Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Akira, and The Big Lebowski. These are movies I could watch a million times. I also really like Christopher Guest Movies (Waiting for Guffman, Spinal Tap, A Mighty Wind, Best In Show), Office Space, The Corporation, UHF, Seven Samuri, Kubrick, The Godfather I&II, Spirited Away, Spaceballs, and old, cheesy Ahnold movies. Anything with "Star" in the title.
Tao Te Ching , Portait of an Artist as a Young Man, Zen and the Art of Motercycle Maintenance , Guns Germs and Steel, Tao of Physics , Miles, Complexity , Grapes of Wrath, Chaos , East of Eden, Cannery Row, tried to read Finnegan's Wake.
Ralph Nader, Bill Hicks, Malcolm X, Lenny Bruce, César Chávez, Amy Goodman, Mike Gravel... real American heroes like that.
