We are Ardagy, a three-piece band from North/South Carolina. Sorry, no country music here. There is no pointless screaming or lyrics without meaning. The songs you hear contain our sweat and blood within them. Though we worked hard on the music, these songs are just basic demos thrown together for you guys, so not everything sounds perfect (especially the vocals). However, the raw rockin' energy still resides in the songs. We each have tons of original material and our own distinguished sound:
**** Daniel writes the heart-piercing love-lost ballads. His angst shows up not only in his lyrics, but the music he writes. He is driven to be as perfect as possible in his songwriting. If there's a great solo, he's probably playing it. That flash in a song is supplied by his fingers. His versatility shows up in his funky bass playing as well. While he has deep roots in the rock of the past, he appreciates today's music as well.
**** SpaceCat writes whatever the hell comes to mind. His energy is sometimes over the edge. He has limited guitar playing skills, but makes up for that in soul, being a blues based player. He doesn't know notes or keys, which drives Daniel nuts! Considered the Jester of the band, you never know what to expect. The only married man in the bunch, he also is the only one without college.
**** Brian writes the melodic "home-hitting" songs. His haunting vocals back his passion in his songs. Being primarily a drummer, he has quickly picked up both bass and guitar, showing tremedous talent everywhere. His songwriting is based mostly on relationships. Brian's passion for his music show everytime he plays. He also is the keeper of the band's attack turtle, "BUD."
This combination is truly the best around. We will try to keep this page updated as much as possible. We love our fans. You are the only reason we're here, whether you're in Japan, Oregon, Colorado, South Carolina or England. Thanks to everyone!
