Il progetto nasce nel 2008 dall' idea di Valek (rhythm guitar) già da tempo con l'intento di formare un nuovo gruppo. Durante la sua ricerca trova e contatta Mark (voice), anche lui desideroso di proporre pezzi propri stile rock/gothic. I due prontamente si dedicano alla stesura dei brani e alla ricerca di componenti da inserire nella line-up. Poco tempo dopo la band vede l'ingresso di Pippo (bass) e Lau (drums); successivamente si aggiungeranno al gruppo Zu (keyboards) e Diego (lead guitar) per completare la formazione. Di recente hanno terminato la loro prima canzone dal titolo "Sleep Girl" che verrà presto inserita sullo space. Attualmente stanno lavorando alla composizione di altri pezzi.
In 2008 Valek (rhythm guitar) started the DarkSide project with the idea to form a new band. During his research he found and contact Mark (voice), who was himself looking for someone to share his ideas to elaborate his own songs in rock-gothic style. Soon after they both start to elaborate new songs and at the same time begins to look for other musicians to join the band. And after a while Pippo (bass) and Lau (drums) become part of the band that in a second moment welcome also Zu (keyboards) and Diego (lead guitar) to complete the DarkSide. Recently they just finished the composition of their very first song "Sleep Girl" which will be soon available on their space. In the meantime they are working at the composition of other songs.
