I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN EASTERHOUSE, GLASGOW SCOTLAND. I MOVED HERE TO THE US IN 1986. I LIVE JUST OUTSIDE OF CHICAGO. SONGS:
1/ BEAUTIFUL SKY: I was inspired to write this after the Sept 11th attacks. Such a beautiful day pierced by so much terror.
2/ LOVE COMES AND GOES: It's about being separated from the one you love either physically or emotionally.
3/ OH MY LOVE: About constantly trying to make it work, not giving up. (a love song really).
4/ PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD: My attept at writing a peace anthem, especially for the kids of the world.
5/ WOE IS ME/ Knowing that we will all have to answer for our bad deeds in this life and beyond.
6/ ANOTHER DAY ON THE MILKY WAY: I get a lot of good feedback on this one. It's dedicated to the Universe and the oneness we have inside of us all.
Sometimes we feel we understand and sometimes we feel we can't.
7/ DON'T BE AFRAID: When I wrote this I pictured two elderly people, still in love and assuring each other that it'll be allright.
8/: DO YOU WANT ME: When we meet someone we may hide our real selves, this is someone showing all that they are and then asking, Do You Want Me Now?
It's a catchy wee number.
9/ GRACEFUL FLIGHT: It's written about a soul on it's way back home.
10/ HOW LONG: Another Peace song really, there are many people in the world who are dedicated to making people suffer, this is to them.
11/ I BELIEVE IN YOU: This song is dedicated to Martin Luther King.
12/ MISSING YOU: Another love song, dedicated to loves lost and people gone.
13/ NOWHERE TO RUN: It's about someone who feels trapped in their life. About coming to terms with the reality that is life.
14/ OPEN UP YOUR HEART: It's about seeing that the answer lies within, all you have to do is stop and listen.
15/ SON OF YOUR'S: I wrote this song about leaving Scotland. It's a heartfelt poem for my home.
16/ THROUGH AND THROUGH: It's about being at the end of a rough time in your life, and feeling a higher prescence guiding you.
17/ TREAT ME WELL: A song about Karma, spreading love and good thoughts.
Treating people with kindness.
18/ WHERE IS: It's rather a melancholy song, someone dreaming about the perfect, elusive love. This is another one I get good feedback on.
19/ YOU'RE MY STAR: A love song, to the one you love. Letting them know that they are your guiding light.
20/ YOU ARE: Another love song. This one was written specifically for my Wife:) 21/ THE BALLAD OF EVERY WOMAN: A black comedy song, I'm sure women everywhere can relate. Hey! maybe it's more about me! HA! 22/ LOOK AT ME: It's about giving all you've got for love, and getting nothing back.

I have been writing my own songs since I was about 12 yrs old. I play all the instruments on the recordings and record everything in my own home studio.
