From the inception of his DJing career, DJ MikiWar has proven himself as a multi-faceted man, whose passion for the art form that is djing grows with each passing day. Beginning at the Los Angeles’ Scratch Dj Acadamy, Miki has been able to cultivate his interests in remix producing, scratching and blending tracks. He immersed himself within the Scratch community, and as his skills developed, Miki began to give back to the group that enabled him to begin following his passions, and became a teaching assistant at the Academy. A member of the Los Angeles based Spinaddicts, and the internationally known BumSquad DJ crew, MikiWar continues to impress both club crowds and industry executives with his wide knowledge of different genres, and live remixes and blends. From hiphop to rock, top 40 to reggae, merengue to salsa—DJ MikiWar never fails to get people moving. Miki is also an official remix producer for djcity.com/digital, where his top blends can be heard and downloaded. DJ MikiWar’s mixes are regularly featured on IVth Element Radio, an online music website, and he can be found rocking crowds throughout the World. Former clients include: Reebok, Bloomingdales, H&M, Absolut Vodka, Teen Vogue, Fender, Pepsi, Lipton Brisk, Dooney & Bourke, 9star, Thetruth.com, Cosmo Girl, UPSHOT Energy drink (where Miki was the headline dj for their spring break tour with stops at hotspots like Daytona Beach(Florida), Panama City(Florida), and South Padre Island(Texas), Miki also recently toured with Upshot for a College Football Tour. Miki is also a chosen guest celebrity dj for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line (Month-long tour with stops in various Caribbean islands). Currently Miki can be found doing guest dj spots for the hottest clubs in the greater Los Angeles area, when not traveling around the world. Miki has also spun at clubs like Tokio Ultralounge (Hollywood), Zanzibar (Santa Monica), Social (Hollywood), Holly’s West (Santa Monica), Forbidden City (Hollywood), Aura (Studio City), Aqua Lounge (Beverly Hills), Miyagi’s (Hollywood), Joseph’s (Hollywood), Circle Bar (Santa Monica), Lattitudes (Panama City, FL), Yankee Doodles (Woodland Hills), Little Temple Bar (Silverlake), Level 3 (Hollywood), Chakra’s (Manhatten Beach), and Harbor Drive (Newport Beach). T.V. highlights include Mun2 HipHopNation, as a featured student dj for Scratch Dj Acadamy.
