About Me

Welcome to Burnt Toast Promotions, based in Southern California. We are an independent production company working to promote and develop various artists.
The Philosophy
We are dedicated to the local music scene and are determined to expose new bands and all the other "little guys" out there. We embrace punk rock, but we carry open minds to other forms of music and art, as long as they get us off. We are always up to working with artists from other arts as well.
Burnt Toast Promotions was started to help small bands become better and bigger bands. We work as a hub where bands can interact with other bands and help each other in each bands' journey to the next level.
Ultimately, what we really want to accomplish is helping bands/artists grow and help other bands/artists grow, creating a growing circle of helping bands. We accomplish this by building the network they need and maintaining working relationships with every entertainment entity we can get our hands on.
We do this for little compensation and incentive except knowing that those we help are so amped that they turn around and help others. Afterall, music isn't about money, it's about passion, fun and good times... right? Are you having fun?
We believe that music is most effective in it's purest form: Live in front of an audience. We want to see bands hit the road, get in front of people who've never heard them, play their hearts out, and win the audience over. Just music, no bullshit, just getting out there and playing for the roots.

Sounds Like: "Every kid on the block is wearing the same clothes, same hair, same fingernail polish, and they sound the same. And you have to wonder how fast that's going to get old. You give it a year, give it two years, or whatever. There are going to be some bands like My Chemical Romance and The Used that are going to survive and be around for years to come, but all the people that are just copying those styles are going to be history. The thing is for me, like growing up in the 80's and going to punk shows and being part of the 80's movement, it was so different. It was scary, dangerous, you really feared for your life. When I went to a punk show, I feared for my life - whether the cops were going to get me, or some cowboys from the cowboy bar down the street were going to come with baseball bats and beat the shit out of me. And just going to school in a Black Flag T-shirt, that was taking a risk right there - you could get beat up by football players. So that was really cool to be part of something like that, which had such a meaning behind it. kids today, a lot of them don't understand what punk is about because it's so different. It's so easily accessible - it's ok to have tattoos, it's ok to have a mohawk, and no one really gives a shit. It's not a big deal because it's all about the attitude."
-Someone more punk than I'll ever be.
