About Me

MyGen Profile Generator What about me? I grew up in Edmonton, Canada; moved to the UK, when I was 19 to go to a professional dance school. I graduated from Ballet and Contemporary dance in '97. I then lived an extra 2 1/2 yrs in London, where I discovered the underground culture and nigthlife. Became a hardcore clubber in '98 and '99, where parties became a weekly ritual. At the end of '99, my family went through a crisis ( our house fell down the river), and requested (felt more like demanded) that I return to Canada for good... Upon my return, all I did was bitch, and complain about how isolated life was and how much better it is in the big city. During my 5yrs back out west, I was fortunate enough to become involved with a local festival 'Next Fest'; a festival for emerging artists. I performed for Next fest in 2001, and the Edmonton Fringe Festival. In 2002 I co-produced, co-directed, and choreographed ' Neverwhere' by Neil Gaiman. In 2003 I was asked to produce my own show which I named 'Just Push Play'. Now obviously, I love to dance, to move, to observe movement... I am a visionaire and a choreographer. I love being creative, whether it be producing a show, making hemp jewelry, or spending my time colouring... oh yeah and I am a colourist in a salon for money, which, luckily, allows me to be creative during the day. I adore toys! Cool toys like the Vinyl collections, anything different and plastic ! :) I have a sickness, of having to get out onto the dance floor and bang my head, so you can catch me at many different events, ripping up the floor... you can especially find me at Saphire (dancin to synthpop industrial) or at a psytrance party loosing my mind! I am also a loyal reader of Adbusters, which reminds me Buy Nothing Day is November 26, so mark your calendars! : ) I believe Timmothy Leary was right in sayin " Question Authority". I am always up for a good political debate. I almost forgot.... I love the greenery! Chronic, bud, weed, whatever you want to call it. I also enjoy using the other parts of my brain with psychedelics, seeing things that are not so clear when straight. I love pushing buttons and the boundaries , with experiences and people ( not in a bad way but in a fun way) :p ...
