About Me

Tommy Fields is a solo artist/composer based in the sunny, smog soaked city of Los Angeles, CA. He has been gaining momentum toward his first solo release by getting his songs placed in the TV shows ONE TREE HILL, EVERWOOD and FOXs REUNION, to name a few. He also wrote, produced and performed tracks for the up coming release of AMPD MOBILE cell phone company. A brief stint with Duff McKagen and Slash in the pre-Velvet Revolver band propelled Tommy in an exciting direction, leaving an impression upon the former Guns and Roses bandmates by calling Tommy an amazing (singer). The songs Tommy writes are an authentic blend of acoustic, rock, folk, indie and pop, that utilizes the cello and other stringed instruments like few others in his genre. Tommys song lyrics are about everyday life. Love. Loss. Politics. Hope. The ugliness and beauty of the world. And he delivers that in a heartfelt, passionate package. Tommys drive for music began in a small town in Indiana. Growing up in one of the poorest rural areas of the Hoosier state gave Tommy a different perspective on life and the meaning of things. Since moving to LA, Tommy has performed in hard rock bands, has been hired for vocal session work and is composing for film and television. ..........PS If you like the band Queen, go to Tommy's site at www.tommyfieldsmusic.com and check out his version of PLAY THE GAME.
