THIS MONTH'S MUSIC: TBD
Let's see. I grew up in the Central Valley in a town called Kingsburg (20 miles south of Fresno). At the time, I found the town to be very boring because there was nothing to do. Now that I look back, it was such a great place to grow up. Because there was nothing to do, you pretty much ran around town with your group of neighborhood friends. It was safe, everyone knew everyone, and the people in the town (for the most part) were very cordial and nice. After that, I moved to LA to go to school (Go BRUINS!). I majored in music, was in a few films, met a few celebrities and then graduated cum laude in '98.I now work for DreamWorks in their Film Music division. Since we are so small, I get to do a lot of different things from licensing to making sure the directors have the music they are request to travelling musicians for sessions. It's been great so far and I've got to work on a lot of films that I'm very proud of (SHREK 2, COLLATERAL, ANCHORMAN, THE TERMINAL). Of course, there were the ones that I'm not so proud of (ENVY, EUROTRIP, etc.). My name is not in the credits, but it is usually in the soundtracks for the films. All in all, the "Industry" has treated me well.If there is ever anyone who is in the LA area and wants to go and grab a beer or something, then please let me know. It would be great to hear from people from the past to see what they are up to!

My Interests

I'm "interested" in a lot of things so I could go on and on. Instead I'll just say that I'm interested in what makes Panda Express' Orange Chicken so good!

I'd like to meet:

Yo mama! Nah, just anyone who I might have known in the past whether it be from Kingsburg, UCLA, or somewhere thereabout.
Oh, and the "Shake yer junk" girl too.

Music:

As long as it has a great melody, lyrics and chord progression, then I'm all over it. Enough with the Simple Plan, Alien Ant Farm, Sum 41 bands already. They are done.

Movies:

Favorite movies: E.T., Goonies, Dead Poet's Society, Poltergeist

Television:

I'm over Television.

Books:

Catcher In The Rye is one of my favorite books.

Heroes:

My mom. She is one of the strongest and most courageous people that I know. She is the only person I know who can stare fear in the face and say, "bring it on!"I also admire people who are able to follow through with things. Setting a goal and reaching it shows a lot about a person's character.
