If we can dream it, we can do it.

About Me

I am many things--a writer, dreamer, editor, mom, scuba diver, reality-show participant, and, once, a skydiver. The older I get, the less conservative I become. Which is a good thing.More basics: I'm married, have three semi-grown sons, and have been gainfully employed for in teaching and publishing for over 30 years. However I still like to go to amusement parks, won't miss fireworks if I can help it, have been to Disney and Universal theme parks a shameful number of times, and would list Hallowe'en as my favorite holiday. It's also what got me on a reality show a few years ago. It was called "Mad Mad House," and my roommates included a witch, a vampire, an African priestess, and naturist, and a modern primitive. (You can still occasionally catch episodes on FoxReality.)My most exciting recent achievements: my two young adult novels. The first, Dream Spinner, was published in October of 2006 by Flux. The second, Neptune's Children, will be out in May, 2008. I describe it as Lord of the Flies meets Animal Farm meets Mickey Mouse. You'll love it. Go to bonniedobkin.com to learn more.
