About Me

R.I.P.
Severus Tobias Snape, The Half-Blood Prince.
Who died a hero. He was misjudged and despised, when all along he had a heart as big as his nose. I've trusted you since day one You will be, forever missed.
Draven. I am that I am. I live, laugh, cry, love and breathe. I am human. And I will make my mark in this life, as me and only me, I change for no one. First off, I am a Christian, that means that I follow Christ. Jesus taught love and tolerance, so that is what I live by. I believe it is my duty to love everyone, no matter what race, religion or sexual preference they are. I do not tolerate hate in any way, shape or form; the world has enough pain. Your prejudice, is your own. Don't blame God. Difference is the spice of life, and I plan on keeping that difference in my life. I am currently a sophmore at Humboldt State University, as a Psychology major, with minors in Criminal Justice and Philosophy-fear me, when I'm staring at you, I'm probably eating your soul. I'm also a memeber of the Marching Lumberjacks, I needn't say more...and hell yes, Davis Sux. My lifes' ambition is to be a Criminal Psychologist. I have six tattoos and twelve piercings, I love being unique...and freaking out old people. I don't smoke or do drugs. But if you think that makes me up tight, you are sadly mistaken. I cannot be mean to people intentionally, it doesn't matter how much they step on, and hurt me, it's just not in my nature. But know that even though I won't eat you, my friends will. I'm a vegetarian, six years strong. I don't get pissed at other people who eat meat, that's fine-go ahead, eat the innocent animals, and enjoy your e-coli. Above all things, I love rain the most. I am a writer and a poet, I never underestimate the power of words. I have a very morbid sense of humor, I'm the person who laughs when someone dies in movies, or t.v. shows (especially if there's fire involved) I'm not insensitive, I just can't help it. I sing; loudly, badly and frequently, I make my life a musical because music is the pulse of life-I am a musician, I play three instruments and cannot imagine life without a constant harmony, melody or rhythm in my head. I wear all black; like my soul. I am not gothic, I have a name not a label, but as Joey calls me...if you want to label me I am a "quasi-goth teddy bear"...don't judge me. I have a lot of obsessive compulsive tendencies which make me hard to deal with from time to time, but they also allow me to function within my own mind, and in the presence of others, so you'll either learn to love them, or you'll end up stabbing me. I love ponies. When it comes to trust and companionship, I'm very introverted and quiet, I don't like being broken, betrayed or lied too, so I don't allow people to get to close to me. Those who are, know it's a privilege that once revoked will never be given back. I do not get angry very easily, but know that hell hath no fury like me, when I am scorned. I have never been in an intimate relationship of any kind; that doesn't mean I don't believe in love. I know that love has the power to move and change everything-I'm just waiting for that change in my life. I'm searching for the person who completes me, I know he's out there; I can wait. I love reading, when in doubt you'll find me with a book of some sort in my hands. If that makes me a nerd so be it, just know that while the rest of you are reading Cosmo-that yes, I would like fries with that.
Holy Sonnet 10
By: John Donne
Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those, whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow,
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy picture[s] be,
Much pleasure, then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery.
Thou'rt slave to Fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy, or charms can make us sleep as well,
And better than thy stroke; why swell'st thou then?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally,
And Death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.
"Come away, come away, death,
And in sad cypress let me be laid;
Fly away, fly away, breath;
I am slain by a fair cruel maid.
My shroud of white, stuck all with yew,
O prepare it!
My part of death, no one so true
Did share it.
Not a flower, not a flower sweet,
On my black coffin let there be strown;
Not a friend, not a friend greet
My poor corpse, when my bones shall be thrown:
A thousand sighs to save,
Lay me, O where
Sad true lover never find my grave,
To weep there!."-Shakespeare; Twelfth Night.
Mi Morena
By: Josh Groban
And so my love
From my window I can see
A beautiful vision
And when the music plays
Your body rises like a bird of grace
Mi morena
I saw you dancing in the rain
Holy water
Shining like a silver flame
Come like a ghost
I will watch you dance alone
Mi morena
You're the light within my soul
And so my love
The way you're moving in your dress
To a nylon guitar
On wings of silk and lace
You lift upon the notes and slip away
Mi morena
I saw you dancing in the rain
Holy water
Shining like a silver flame
Come like a ghost
I will watch you dance alone
Mi morena
You're the light within my soul
Take this cross of feathers and bone
Take this heart I've carved in stone
In your name
Where the setting sun surrenders to the moon
Mi querida
I wait for you
Mi morena
Hold your hands out to the night
Be my lover
I will fall into your eyes
Sweet fire of love
Fo you I'd steal the stars
..Cause I adore you
O my morena.

My favorite band: I am Ghost.
"There was a time when stillness meant nothing to me. Once, silence meant lack of sound; Fall came once a year. I danced, redcheeked, each year's first snow, tongue out to taste each flake's welcome sting. I laughed, distinct from nature's cycles, A scrap of wonder, floating in a torrent of sorrow I couldn't grasp. That laugh, mouth open, sums up my past. I craved fulfillment, too shallow to know I could never be fully filled again."
Tuke: I love...dew.
Rutt: I love dew too, eh.
Current obsessions:
Criminal Minds, Spring Awakening, Josh Groban and Chuck Palahniuk (some things don't change...)

My Interests

"Deepest oceans of despair
This vast and somber
Charcoal night of space
Have you given up yet?
What hope lingers in the crevasses and corners of your soul?
I know you
You haven't given up yet
You are brave in this darkness, Saint Saturn
Sometimes the bravest thing of all is to hope."
Brave Saint Saturn

Pain.
A year ago...A cold October night...A broken down car on a dirt road...A man...A girl...Madness...Pain...And the shadows...My God, the shadows...

Fear.
He screams and screams and pounds his head agaisnt the wall until wailing phantom firetrucks paces across his vision. Pain is all he wants. And hate, yes hate. We shall never forget and never forgive. And never, ever fear. Fear is for the enemy. Fear and bullets.

Irony.
The tides of sin draw tighter and brighter. The hours become heavier and weighted. And the shadows smile, dark and wild. This is when hope and desire collapse. The arc of the dream decends into despair. When innocent lovers dance like angels on fire. This is when the night comes down; a hammar on an anvil. And the only absolution accepted is a legacy of brutality. A single note rings on and on and on.

Despair.
Here dwells a snake, one thousand miles long. Coiled, one thousand miles deep. Eyes like candy, it has eyes like candy-hard and blue, but soft as kitten feet. Our of sight or in the element of light. It could be a devil, it could be an angel with spiders inside a vision from Hell. Its spine a vertical scream. Slow as concrete, blurred as a dream. It spins round and down on an axis of atrocity, fueled by intertia, depth, radius and velocity. Its soul-a twisted wreckage of despair and pain. And the spiders inside are just praying for rain. Killing time, killing time. And praying for rain. One thousand miles deep.

Death.
It's not death if you refuse it...It is if you accept it.

I'd like to meet:

"We are a movement of everyday heroes.
We are the never-before,
demanding the never-again.
After 21 years of war
1.5 million forced into camps
are dying by the thousands.
We will not close our eyes to the emergency in Northern Uganda.
This isn't about guilt.
It's about faces with names.
The 50 American states,
are united in 15 cities.
We are displaced,
because they are displaced.
The time has come for peace
Apathy has become activism.
We go without food.
We go without water.
For the invisible children who go without.
We forego our comforts, and forego our beds.
To declare that all men are created equal.
We ask:
Peace in Northern Uganda.
Protection of its citizens.
And a plan to bring them home.
Every war has an end".

Displace Me: The Aftermath.

I was here. At Displace Me. On April 28th, 2007.

I may seem crazy
Or painfully shy
And these scars wouldn't be so hidden
If you would just look me in the eye
I feel alone here and cold here
Though I don't want to die
But the only anesthetic that makes me feel anything kills inside
