ANDY DOBLE IS THE KEYBOARD PLAYER WITH THE WONDERFUL LOVE JUNKIES BAND.Here is a selection of works in progress, maybe one day I'll actually finish something ! I have the pleasure of working with some of the top muso's in this country ,me Im just a keyboard player with a lot of funk knowledege lol ,its true. My MD Chris Wong whos album "edible suite" is now available has taken me ,and shown me a world far beyond my ability ,in this respect he is a true musician and teacher in fact my Guru.
I've been lucky in life to have had a few teachers like Chris in life,my father and my brothers all whom played in the family dance band included. Over the years I have stumbled in to many peoples lives in the same way,my dear friend and soul brother, George Williams(nearly every week on BBC radio 2 they play Miss Grace ,and I smile )Edwin Starr (charlie,man we miss you ,25 miles heeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhh!) I toured with Ruby Turner,and have funked with George clinton, Greg Thomas etc and I was lucky to meet Eddie hazel before he died,the original P-Funk guitar,my big brother Gary Doble ,drummer founder member of the Atomic Dogs,Billy Dent blues man and friend,to many to mention who have gone. Still working with Don Mescall (singer songwriter Sony Bmg) we did the Janice Long Show last Septemeber on BBC Radio 2 which was a blast and still touring with Toyah Willcox,so yer lifes good ,lol
