UPDATES: Yes. There's music in my profile now. I admit, I don't usually care for music in profiles. However, I have to show support for my brother Illa-Noize, so you're forced to listen to him. After all, I spent my entire life being forced to listen to him, I might as well share the joy. :)
This profile edited by... well, me! :) Yes, I did the CSS myself. I know I know, I'm white and nerdy.
Anyway, I'm pretty boring. There's not much to tell about me. I'm a graphic design/web geek by trade. I am also Group Manager of FlashFocused , the Ann Arbor Area Adobe/Macromedia User Group, for which I also set up a MySpace Group . I do a little acting. I'm the karaoke queen of southeastern Michigan.
I'm into things like RPGs, reading (mostly fantasty/sci-fi), screenplay writing, electronic music and graphic design/webpage design. I'm also involved in the inZer0 project , which is a Sci-Fi show filming in Detroit. Yes, your Misty on the big screen. I play PerplexCity like it's goin' outta style.

I smoke cloves when out drinking and dancing with friends. Hey, the cloves go with my coffin purse and shiny knee-high boots.
I drive a Honda Element and I love it. I finally broke down and got a personalized license plate. It has my old BBS handle from 1991 (+5 geek points). I try to keep it clean because a clean car is a happy car and I like my car being happy.
I hang out in the Yahoo chat room for web design sometimes, helping out the clueless and ignoring the ones who annoy me with A/S/L questions. If they'd have bothered to read my profile, they'd know I outright ignore A/S/L people and that I'm married and no I would not like to see them display their goodies in a webcam. And unless you used to play Spike on Buffy/Angel, I'm probably not displaying MY goodies either.
I am probably the world's pickiest eater. I have a genetic disorder called Celiac which pretty much means I can't eat anything made with grains. So no bread, pizza, beer, muffins, bagels... wow, I'm getting hungry.
I change my hair every couple of weeks. Apparently dying and cutting my hair is fun. Or something.
Well, that's about it for me. Like I said, I'm boring.
Brenda Meeks: Here's Detroit.

Brenda Meeks: Here's Detroit after the invasion.
[same shot of the destroyed city with gunshots, but now with alien tr-iPods roaming around]
For the record, I hate stupid people.

My Interests

RPGs, screenplay writing, Pysanki eggs, Perplex City , Star Trek photomanips (where you take pictures of people you know or famous models/actors and put them in Trek uniforms -- it's really not as geeky as it sounds. Honest. Really.), web design, graphic design, reading (mostly sci-fi/fantasy), screenplay writing, electronic music...

Did I mention screenplay writing? :) It's quite a big interest of mine.

I'd like to meet:

James Marsters.
Oh sure, this could be a very long list, but I'm too lazy to type more.

Music:

Fiera is an industrial techno diva who enjoys a nice side of trance with just a hint of rock. Throw in a little old-school industrial and sometimes a little pop and she's a happy girl.

Television:

Buffy, Angel, La Femme Nikita, The O.C., Forever Knight

Heroes:

My bunny.

That’s what happens when you live with a blonde vampire.

There are four words that send feelings of fear and dread through my husband's spine. No, they aren't 'We need to talk' and they aren't 'Oh look, shoe sale!' either, though he does tend to cringe at t...

The internet is ruining our lives.

Ya know, that really had to hurt.

I once tried to explain to someone what acting in something is really like. "It's like playing pretend," I said in a cliched kind of way. "Only you don't really get to pick what it is you're pretendin...

Summer days, driftin away...

Even though my hair color changes frequently, most everyone knows I'm a blonde at heart (or would that be 'at head'?). Proof of this comes in today's outing when I decided to go to Whole Foods and pic...

Doing the 'do.

I've always found it interesting that haircuts for men are considerably cheaper than haircuts for women. It must be because they, on average, have shorter hair. Shorter hair makes it less expensive al...
