Influences: Where do I start..I have been inspired by singers all my life. A few that come to mind...Polysterene (X Ray Specs), Patti Smith, Sandy Denny, Frank Zappa, The Crass, Emmy Lou Harris, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, Jefferson Airplane, Mary Black, Mary Coughlin, Claire Martin, Clare Teal, Jamie Cullum, Cassandra Wilson, Carmen Macrae, John Martyn, Amy Winehouse, Pheobe Snow. And how could I forget the wonderful Kate Bush!
