I'm an interior design/architecture student. I enjoy painting, writing, reading and creating different kinds of arty/crafty things, but not granny crafts. I've recently become addicted to Winsor pilates. I also like jogging and exploring new restaurants, not necessarily at the same time. Dinner and drinks in a great environment is my idea of a good time. I like the nightlife, baby. ;)
"I am someone who is looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't-live-without-each-other love."
I'd like to meet Madonna, Anthony Bourdain (after his divorce ;) and Seth McFarland, because he is pure genius.
Minimal Techno and, well, too much to list. Radio stations annoy me so I don't listen to them much. If I do, its 90.9 in the car: classical in the day, jazz at night. It keeps the road rage down. I listen to classical in the studio too. It calms the voices in my head. ;)
I have tons of favorite movies. I love a good horror flick, even though they're hard to come by. My favorite movie of all time has been Reality Bites since, like, 7th grade. I like stupidly hilarious movies, too.
It seems I'm too busy most of the time to watch tv, but I've managed to squeeze one into my cluttered studio for HGTV inspiration while drawing electrial plans or hot-glueing my fingers to a storyboard. Sometimes I'll flip to TLC and A and E for the house-flipping shows. My favorite programs are Anthony Bourdain No Reservations, Sex and the City and Family Guy. When I'm not INCREDIBLY BUSY I'll catch some Seinfeld, Adult Swim, Invader Zim, and other shit that would annoy most normal people. But I do like the History Channel from time to time. Samantha Brown's Passort to Europe and Latin America on The Travel Channel are good because she's a great host and I can't afford to travel myself.
My favorite author is John Saul. I've read all of his books . It seems whenever I find an author I love, I also discover that they only wrote one book. =P Some of my favorite books are The Celestine Prophecy, The Bell Jar, Girl Interrupted, The Boys of my Youth, The Big Love, How Animals Mate, Bird by Bird and many of Raymond Carver's books and short stories. I like horror-fiction, stories of the paranormal, books inspired by real life that make me chuckle, suicidal, ecstatic and assures me that I'm completely normal - in a stretch of the word. I'm also inspired by a good parable. Robert Fulghum is cool.
Madonna, my mom, late father and step father, Pete.
