About Me

Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

I'm a freelance screenwriter who writes feature films mainly aimed at Hollywood production companies.
I mostly write horror, comedy and action, though I'm not specialising in any particular genre for the time being.
Currently, I'm rewriting 2 of my scriptsand I have numerous other ideas in development.
I'm partnered with my director, Ian Serra. Together we run a new film production company in Gibraltar (that's southern tip of Spain).
We're about to launch our first film project together, which is a feature horror called "Faces In The Rock".
I wrote the script and am also associate producing the feature film.
We already have interest from some big Hollywood production companies for the horror, though I won't mention who yet as we're keeping our options open.
I am the UK MPA Executive - Motion Picture Alliance: http://www.mpalliance.org
I did my ProSeries screenwriting course with Hal Croasmun. If you're serious about professional screenwriting, then this is something you must check out: www.scriptforsale.com
There's more info on it in one of my blogs.
I was the Script Editor and Co-Executive Producer for Raging Psycho Comics. I worked on Night Warrior and you can read the entire Season 1 FREE at www.nw-comic.co.uk (see blog for update)
Part of my production duties also involve casting so if any actors or even crew on myspace wish to get in touch, please send me a message and I'll check out your profile.

My Interests

Movies, music, games, graphic design / art, pubs / clubs, drinking, spirituality, animals (MONKEYS), the weird and wonderful corners of someone's twisted imagination and a lot of other things I can't write in public :)

I'd like to meet:

On myspace - any actors, writers, comic artists, film crew or anyone with a real passion for films. Oh and anyone from around my hometown like people from the Hobgoblin :)
I also listen to a lot of music and will especially be looking for tunes for movie musical scores. I've already been adding a lot of bands to my friends list, both famous and those just breaking in.
Outside of myspace, there's so many people I'd like to meet the list would drag on. I love meeting people in the film industry, especially other writers, actors and directors.

Music:

Incubus, Muse, Limp Bizkit, Staind, Reef, Massive Attack, Eminem, Dr Dre, Guns 'n' Roses, Metallica, Skunk Anansie, Lost Prophets, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Korn, The Prodigy, Killers - list all sorts from metal to hip hop to club music.

Movies:

American Beauty, Being John Malkovich, High Fidelity, Matrix Trilogy, Lord Of The Rings, Silent Hill, The Cell, Hellraiser series, Nightmare On Elm Street, Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, K-Pax, Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas, Strange Days, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Interview With A Vampire, Queen Of The Damned, Shaun Of The Dead, Minority Report, Four Rooms, Pulp Fiction, Zoolander, 8 Mile, Sin City, A History Of Violence, Batman Begins, Identity, Moulin Rouge, Usual Suspects, Sixth Sense, Spider-man movies, X-men movies, Eastern Martial Arts movies, a lot of J-Horror: The Ring Trilogy, Phone, Cursed, The Grudge, some Manga/Anime like Fist Of The North Star, Akira, Ninja Scroll, Metropolis, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle and LOTS more. Oh I love fking scary horrors, films with good twists and ones that you make think. Also films that are extremely imaginative and normally end up fking your head up :)

Television:

LOST (bastards I'm addicted!), Simpsons, Futurama, Friends, Mighty Boosh, Red Dwarf, Smallville, if I had time would get more into Sopranos (awesome) and 24 - other than that the occasional series, shows and documentaries.

Books:

Conversation With God (Books 1, 2 & 3), Saved By The Light, The Last Days Of Ancient Sunlight, Neverwhere, Breakfast With Sharks - I need to read more, most of it is on the PC like scripts or damn forums like damn myspace. I proof and write for a living so don't have much time to read and watch all my DVDs.

Heroes:

Do I have any heros? I guess the people who have inspired me in my life either directly or indirectly. The people who wrote books or made movies that inspired, enlightened me or touched my heart/soul. Also the bands who have done the same like Incubus, Muse and many others.
