About Me

Hiya... I'm a funny-as-hell, goofy, flirty, TV/Movie actor/voice-over artist (SAG/AFTRA) just moved from Long Island NY to Hollywood...damn I miss good bagels/pizza...sigh... (But the sushi in LA is amazing...).

***PLEASE try not to hold it against me that I am in the "entertainment biz", as I try to be very down-to-earth ...

I also deal in and collect high-end vintage collectibles as well, such as original comic art, comic books, animation cels, old cereal boxes, movie props, old movie posters, old toys, etc. etc...

To answer a few of the more "frequently asked" questions:
-NO- I DON'T have a crappy "typical stereotype LA actor" over-puffed-arrogant-attitude/ego...I'm a born-n-bred NYer, proud to be VERY down-to-earth, I don't deal with fake, plastic people or bullshit, i'm a genuine REAL regular person with a brain and a VERY outgoing personality...I can also hold a great conversation... :)
-YES- I'm very, very, VERY funny (a bit dirty sometimes...cross Howard Stern, Adam Sandler, Jerry Sienfeld and mix in some Family Guy, and you've got my humor)...I love to laugh, and I especially love making others laugh, and I am VERY outgoing and friendly...
-YES-I am very into traveling to other countries and enjoying different cultures and foods...
-YES- I work at my career, and make it a point to be nice to everyone I work with...being professional means being GOOD TO WORK WITH and polite to everyone...
-NO- I'm not waiting tables somewhere, but I respect those that do...
-YES- I own my own place (a cool penthouse in the Hollywood Hills...bought with my own money from years of struggling and working for it...)
-YES- I have a NY accent

-YES- I love visiting my hometown of Long Island, NY multiple times each year...

Just about a zillion TV/Radio commercials, including some recent ones for MTV and FUSE...working on getting some cartoon roles...(cross fingers)...and yes, a few of the MAJOR cartoon studios have been auditioning me lately for some REALLY cool roles, so STAY TUNED...

I was also the subject of a GREAT article in the Dec 2004 issue of PLAYBOY MAGAZINE, in a story about comic book original art collectors, as well as being the subject of a few random horror magazine articles (Draculina, Scream Queens, etc)...

My Interests

Acting (TV/Movies),

Voice-over (commercials/cartoons)...

FAVORITE HOBBIES: collecting comic books and comic book original art (Marvel/DC), and old 1970s cereal boxes (Fruit Brute, Booberry, Chocula, Frankenberry, etc etc) and candy wrappers, 1970s toys and non-sport trading cards...and old-school 1980s full-size arcade games (I have some in my home). I love exotic sports cars, good food and wine, traveling, my hometown of NY...and yes, i'm a fan of the NY Yankees...and a huge animal lover (esp. dogs)...

***Favorite charities: Humane Society, Project Angelfood, National MS Society, any no-kill animal shelters, Oaks Christian School (yes, even though i'm Jewish, it's a great school full of great kids).

I'd like to meet:

Anyone cool or fun, girls who REALLY love to laugh, or any other folks in the "acting or VO biz" who are down-to-earth and realise it's just a job, (and that being in the entertainment biz doesn't mean you're better than anyone else)...anyone who wants to cast me for acting work...anyone who wants to sell me original comic book art (or collects it, or wants to talk about it)...anyone who appreciates a perverted, goofy sense of humor...i'm like a living cartoon... :)

***People ask what I look for in a GIRL:

Be fun, like to laugh (a LOT), no liars, cheaters, no gold-digging useless wenches, no arrogant "LA attitude" that will just make me launch you to the curb like a rocket...

I like a girl that likes to spoil her guy, has a brain, can hold a long intelligent conversation, has a sense of adventure, and is more than just "a bit" sexual...and being a good kisser is a MUST...

No jealous types, I have a lot of pretty friends (most of my friends are girls)...

I love girls with a sweet, giving nature who LOVE heavy affection....girls with hearts of gold win MY heart...

I also love long hair, pretty eyes, nice smiles, and of course, a nice bod... :)

Also anyone who enjoys trying new foods and has traveled...

I also have a weakness for pretty ASIAN GIRLS, but I love ALL other types too...:)

I know the value and rarity of a really GREAT girl, and i'm not one to under-appreciate one who really shows me she's great...

If you live on your "T-mobile sidekick" phone trying to be a "Paris Hilton wannabe", if you carry fake Chanel bags hoping someday some guy will buy you real ones, if your ipod and your lip gloss mean more to you than your manners, we will most certainly not get along...

I really love girls who are really smart, successful, and career driven...but also want to be loved...

Music:

All over the map...from current pop, hip-hop, R&B, rap, rock, dance, to ALL the '80s heavy-metal-hair-bands, to Sinatra and Billy Joel (a GREAT Long Islander)...you name it, I probably like it...

Movies:

Waaaaay too many to mention, but partial to Sci-Fi (Star Wars, Star Trek, etc), Fantasy (Lord of the Rings, Spiderman, X-men, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, etc), good smartly written dramas (Schlindler's List, Forrest Gump, Goodfellas, etc), and of course, COMEDYS (Ferris Bueller, Willy Wonka, anything Mel Brooks, Billy Crystal, Rodney Dangerfield, Jackie Mason or Kevin Smith did, and so so MANY more)...and yes girls, I actually loved "The Notebook"...

Television:

Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, Lost, Survivor, The View (yes, I admit it, i'm addicted), Family Guy (funniest show ever), Prison Break, Grey's Anatomy, Harvey Birdman, Deadwood, Sopranos, Justice League, Simpsons, American Dad, Robot Chicken, Entourage, various reality shows (Rock of Love, Flavor of Love, I Love NY, Charm School, Shot at Love, etc...VH-1 does 'em right)...any old-school cartoons from the 1960s-80s...Fawlty Towers (damn that old show is funny)...and I really enjoy the "old classics": I Love Lucy, Honeymooners, and Carol Burnett...also Ben Stiller, Seinfeld, and Larry David are all brilliant...and of course anyone that knows me, knows my eternal love for the 1980s NBC mini-series' "V" and "V-the Final Battle"...let's see THAT one brought back...!!!

Books:

Comic Books...I LOVE 'em...from the 1940s-today...love 'em all...i'm a WELL KNOWN authority on comics and comic book original art...geez, that sounds so geeky...

Heroes:

My mom (fighting cancer), Derek Jeeter (true good sportsmanship), Howard Stern (standing up for himself against the FCC and critics, doing it his way), and anyone else that crawls up from nothing to make something of themselves...
