Michael Tabb is currently writing a feature for Paradox Entertainment. In the past year, he finished THE UNCATCHABLE COWGIRL BANDITS OF NOTTINGHAM, TEXAS for Katherine Brown and Intrepid Pictures (deal with Rogue/Focus Features and Universal) and adapted the best-selling Russian sci-fi/adventure novel KNIGHTS OF THE FORTY ISLANDS by Sergey Lukyanenko (author of NIGHT WATCH) for Run Entertainment, Ltd.Before that, Michael developed projects for Disney Feature Animation, The Canton Company at Warner Brothers, Producer Lawrence Bender, comic book icon Stan Lee, Director Mike Newell and Dustin Hoffman to name a few. He also guest lectures on screenwriting and writes a column in Ingénue Magazine about screenwriting entitled “Script Notes”.Known for his original drafts of the scripts TROY and THE CASANOVAS, Michael did the final rewrite of the thriller RING AROUND THE ROSIE, in which his draft landed actor Tom Sizemore and was released by Sony, making the top twenty list of highest grossing indie renters of 2006.Michael serves as Supervising Producer on several productions for the original-content, online-network Strike.TV, including shows: SPEEDIE-DATE, FUSION, SKETCH TOONS, TONY HAND and more, including his own project SHADOW ACADEMY featuring Corey Haim, Miguel Ferrer, Stephen Root and funnyman Brian Posehn. Given his eye for storytelling, Michael now also serves as Strike.TV’s Head of Submissions.Michael was raised behind the Orange Curtain (The OC), wrote his first short screenplay in high school and began writing features in college.
