Netherlands-based band, Daisy Vain was founded in the summer of 2004 when guitarist Ivar (ex-Gotcha) initiated auditions for the formation of a new rockband at the time. An unknown seventeen year old singer, Robin walked through the rehearsal room doors and blew everyone there away with her impressive vocal abilities, which set the proverbial ball rolling for the formation of what was later to become Daisy Vain. The drum chair was then immediately filled by the talented Milan and later, English-born Andy joined full-time as the final member of the band member fulfilling Bass duties.
Together their varied influences merge to form a tight, cohesive sonic experience that can lure the audience in for emotional tunes like 'Breathe' or set the building rocking with tracks like 'Katie Lee' or 'Fire'.
The self-written repertoire is inspired by names such as Jeff Buckley, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Alanis Morisette and Skunk Anansie, but has its own unique sound with influences of funk and blues, but sitting comfortably in the Pop/Rock genre.
Numerous t.v. and radio appearances along with regular gigging has resulted in a stage show guaranteed to entertain, so miss them at your own peril!
