The Comic Book Hall of Fame sends its condolences out to the Turner Family & Close Friends . In case Fans do not know (The CBHOF understands that fans have their own life and problems and are not always able to read news about their favorite artist or Comic Creators) We are sad to report that on June 27th, 2008, Michael Turner has passed away. He worked on Fathom, Superman/Batman and many many others. He will be missed, however, have courage, his work lives on!

The Comic Book Hall of Fame as of Today has Officially Filed for its Certificate of Good Standing!! It's a Step in the Right Direction!
For All Parties Interested, We have posted Pics of Our Certificate of Authority, Statement of Resignation & Concluded Participation, Amendments to our Articles of Organization and Our Minutes Book. We realize that there are numerous internet "scams" and we feel that this will enhance our Credibility & Legitimacy among the fans and Professionals alike. On a further note, we have blacked out our Employer Identification Number for Security Reasons. Our Registered Agent is The Corporation Service Company, 80 State St., Albany, NY. 12207. Lastly, our Company Name can be checked on the Internet - just go to Google and type "Corporate Entity Search" and then go to the Official N.Y. State website and type "Comic Book Hall of Fame, LLC." On a positive note, we are now eligible to file for our Certificate of Good Standing.
Hi, my name's Roger Rautio and I'm from Syracuse, NY (East Elmhurst is the address of The Comic Book Hall of Fame's Office) but this page isn't about me (I'll tell more about myself a little later). I think it's about them. Who are they?
They are the people, past, present and future, who bring us comic books. You see my friends and I feel that comic books have grown beyond the iconic status and have become, well, institutional. That and we noticed that everything that is either truly American or things that we truly love as Americans has its own Hall of Fame. Even chess players have a hall! There's nothing wrong with that, I'm just saying that we're the only large group of people left that doesn't have a Hall of Fame.
So my friends and I have gone ahead, filed all of the legal paperwork, to form one. I am the designated person of responsibility (I used to be a restaurant manager - it made about 3 million a year). We formed the Comic Book Hall of Fame as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) - we did this for a few reasons; like yourselves, my friends and I are just regular working people with everyday lives and forming the Comic Book Hall of Fame as an LLC provides us with some legal protection and it separates us as individuals from the Comic Book Hall of Fame. Lastly, it makes us "Business Friendly" because it puts the Comic Book Hall of Fame on a list of legitimate businesses in New York State, and that helps a great deal when it comes to potential sponsors or advertisers.
This idea is huge, too big for any one person, including me. So I invite you, we invite you, to come and join us and build this one Special place together . . . for them.
Please check back often, many updates are already in the works. I would also like to thank, on behalf of The Comic Book Hall of Fame, the very talented artist Sean Russell who drew and inked the Comic Book Hall of Fame Induction Award designs. Thank You! Thank you all and most of all, thank you, to every single person who ever worked in the comic book industry for making comic books happen!
My Regards & Best Wishes Always!
