Zorndyke nasce dalla volontà di unire le sonorità più tradizionali dell’old-school death metal con influenze marcatamente brutal ma anche thrash in un’unica entità , creando così il perfetto mix tra violenza, brutalità e dinamismo.
L’idea base del progetto risale all’autunno 2006, mentre la cellula primordiale della formazione definitiva inizia a formarsi all’inizio dell’anno successivo nel mese di marzo.
Viene subito scelta una formazione a 5, con voce basso batteria e 2 chitarre, permettendo così di sfruttare al massimo le ottime caratteristiche sia tecniche che compositive di tutti i componenti.
Causa vari problemi e altri impegni personali dei componenti l’inizio dell’attività in sala prove slitta da marzo a settembre 2007.
Da subito tra i componenti si crea un perfetto feeling permettendo fin da subito la stesura di ottimi rami, vista anche l’amicizia che li lega e il fatto che tutti suonano già in band dell’underground locale.
Al momento attuale la band è in fase di composizione di nuovi pezzi, registrando il suo primo rehearsal nell’aprile 2008, e sono già previste date live nei principali locali e manifestazioni locali della zona.
Zorndyke è la voglia di riportare a vivere l’ardore e la passione per suoni ormai quasi dimenticati aggiornati e riletti in chiave personale e più moderna.

Zorndyke is born from the will to join the traditional old-school death metal sonorities with influences from brutal death and also thrash into an only entity, creating a perfect mix between violence, brutality and dynamism.
The first idea to create this project was is autumn 2006, while the primordial cell of the definitive formation begins to form itself at the beginning the successive year in March.
It was chosen a formation of 5 members, with voice bass drums and 2 guitars, allowing therefore to take advantage from to the maximum of the optimal characteristics for techniques and compositive skills of each member.
Cause several problems and other personal engagements of the members the beginning of the activity slips from March to September 2007.
Between the members the feeling was perfect since the beginning with the result of the creation of wonderful songs, also due to the friendship that unites them and the fact that all Zorndyke components already play in other band of the local underground.
At the present moment the band it is in phase of new songs composition, a first rehearsal has been recorded in April 2008, and already are planned live dates in the main pubs and local manifestations of the zone.
Zorndyke wants to bring back to living the ardour and the passion for sounds by now nearly forgotten dawns and rewrite’em in a personal and more modern key.
