Profile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor 2.0 VERSIONE ITALIANA: “Non si può trovare la risposta nelle scritture degli altri, o le parole di una mente addestrata… in un mondo prezioso di ricordi troviamo noi stessi imprigionati…†Con queste parole incomincia il lungo viaggio onirico di Kadath… Incominciai a formare questo progetto solista nei primi giorni di settembre del 2005, prendendo una grande ispirazione dai racconti del beneamato Lovecraft e da pochi artisti che conoscevo, specialmente Burzum, dato che il suo album “Hvis Lyset Tar Oss†mi affascinò…Successivamente, nell’estate del 2006, il mio grande amico Tony mi fece conoscere altri artisti del genere, così ebbi la possibilità di migliorare lo stile… Scelsi questo nome per il progetto perchè, dopo aver letto il libro: "La ricerca onirica dello sconosciuto Kadath", sempre di Lovecraft, mi resi conto di quanto stesse perfetto con il tema principale delle mie tracce, concentrati sul viaggio onirico in luoghi lontani dal nostro mondo, sentirsi perduti tra gli angoli bui dello spazio cosmico infinito... composi tre CD-R, e questi rappresentarono un lungo periodo di depressione che durò circa sei mesi, con continui incubi e pensieri negativi sul mio ego... La solitudine predominò continuamente, anche se la luna fu (ed è ancora) la mia unica compagna che consolò il mio stato d’ animo…Ora questo dolore è passato, anche se qualche volta si fa risentire… i primi due CD-R potrei definirli come demo creati per comprendere meglio il feeling adatto per comporre, il terzo invece lo definirei come il vero full-length... Ultimamente ho cambiato il nome al progetto, perchè ho saputo che alcuni usano lo stesso nome, in particolare un gruppo death metal già attivo ancora prima che formassi il mio. Oltre a creare dark ambient suono la batteria, una Yamaha Rydeen. Il set è composto da: doppio pedale Yamaha, pelli Remo, Tom 10", 12", timpano 14" e 16", rullante 13", cassa 20", charleston Rydeen 14", medium thin crash Sabian XS20 14", medium thin crash Rydeen 16", medium thin crash Sabian XS20 16", china AAX 16", ride Rydeen 20", splash Sabian AAX 8", bacchette Vic Firth Extreme 5A, supporti Yamaha, Mapex e Pearl. Attualmente faccio parte di un gruppo avantgarde/doom metal nominato "Echoes of Perdition" come batterista. Durante il tempo libero leggo libri del genere horror gotico e mistico e ascolto moltissima musica: dark ambient, death industrial, ethereal, neoclassica, industrial, noise, power electronics… ascolto molto il metal del genere death, brutal, grindcore, black, folk, viking, gothic, doom (specialmente funeral, black, death e drone), la drum'n'bass, in particolare il genere jump-up, liquid funk e darkstep… Tuttavia mio cugino Axion8 (Dr. NuKe) appartiene al duo nominato “S.M.O.K.E.â€, e da quando ha incominciato la carriera da DJ/producer, circa otto anni fa, che ascolto questo stupendo genere… Infine ascolto anche il folk celtico tradizionale, gothic rock e death rock… Alcune tracce che ho inserito fanno parte del prossimo full-length intitolato: "Giving Up The Ghost", una sorta di suoni eterei, oscuri con qualche filone noise... non è ancora definita la sua uscita, causa impegni personali che non mi lasciano la possibilità di dedicarmi al massimo… Comunque sia “enjoy†quello che vi ho inserito! ;) ENGLISH VERSION: “The answer cannot be found in the writing of others, or the words of a trained mind… in a precious world of memories we find ourselves confined...†With these words the Kadath’s dream-quest has started… I’ve started this oneself project in the first days of September 2005, taking a great inspiration from the beloved Lovecraft’s stories and from few artists that I knew, especially Burzum, because his album “Hvis Lyset Tar Oss†has completely fascinated me… Successively, in the summer 2006, my great friend Tony let knew me other artists of the genre, so I’ve had the possibility to improve my style… I’ve chosen this name for the project because, after that I’ve read the book: “The Dream-Qust of the Unknown Kadathâ€, always written by Lovecraft, I’ve accounted how it’s perfect with the principal theme of my tracks, concentrated about the dream-quest in far places over our world, feeling lost through the dark corners of the infinite cosmic space… I've created three CD-R, and they represented a long depression period lasted six months, with continuous nightmares and negative thoughts about myself… Loneliness rules constantly, even if the moon was (and it’s again) my only fellow that comforted my soul… Now this pain has left me, even if sometimes comes back again… the first two I would define the first two CD-R as demos created to comprehend the right way to produce, and the third as the real full-length... Recently I've changed the name, because I had been informed that there are some projects that they use the same name, in particular a death metal project already active before I created the mine. Other than producing dark ambient I play drums, a Yamaha Rydeen. Actually I' m playing in the avantgarde/doom metal band called "Echoes of Perdition". During the freetime I read gothic horror and mistic books and I listen to very much music: dark ambient, death industrial, ethereal, neoclassical, industrial, noise, power electronics… I listen to also very much metal: death, brutal, grindcore, black, folk, viking, gothic, doom (especially funeral, black, death and drone). I listen to also drum’n’bass, in particular jump-up, liquid funk and darkstep…anyway my cousin Axion8 (Dr. NuKe) is a member of the duo “S.M.O.K.E.â€, and when he has started the DJ/producer career, eight years ago, that I listen to this wonderful music… Finally I listen to also traditional celtic folk, gothic rock and death rock… Some tracks uploaded here comes from the next full-length in working, entitled: "Giving Up The Ghost", a mix of ethereal and dark sounds with a little some parts of noise sounds...
