The idea of Capitis Damnare was born in 1999, as a one man project founded by Morthem (Ex Ipsis-Mors). Later that year Angra Mainyu joined on bass guitar, when both were fucked up of their earlier thrashing Black Metal Band Voelkermord, which fell to ashes later.... Soon they started looking for other members matching to the idea and ideologies of Capitis Damnare.... and found nothing but idiots and traitors...so they decided to work out riffs and songs at their own. In 2002 they recorded the "Emotions of a tortured Mind" demo. During the meantime Angra Mainyu and Morthem (Ex Ipsis-Mors) played in several local Death- and Black Metal bands, so they met their first drummer Trollo... From that moment they split up with the ignorant and childish scene and finished all other band activities only using the time and energy to create the music comparing to the satanic ideology inside them... Together with Trollo they recorded the "Abysses of Souls" promo 2003, composed new material and played several live gigs. In 2004 the "Cold, Evil and Possessed" demo was released by Horned Records . After some live gigs, Hellslut joined the band on rythm - guitars in fall 2004... The year 2005 was a bad time for Capitis Damnare... In the beginning Trollo was thrown from the Battlefield for some weak reasons... His follower was thrown out after a few months as he tried to become the band's work worse... In fall Capitis Damnare started to create new material, and recorded a new song with Morthem (Ex Ipsis-Mors) on drums for the 4 Band Split Vinyl "Satanic Butchery", a co. production of mighty Horned Records and their own label Cold Breath Productions.... In January 2006, Skull joined the horde on drums. In July 2006 the Satanic Butchery EP is finally unleashed and the band started to record their first full-length adoration "Black Stigmatized" and finished the recordings in summer of 2007, finally. Nowadays Capitis Damnare spread their hate, rituals and adorations stronger than ever before.......
