CRUSTERz

The band has been together since 1991 and have been a thorn in the side of the Chicago music scene. Playing mostly underground loft and theatre parties they have made a name for themselves as being too political in their lyrics and lifestyles. In 2000 they finally released a debut CD "Smackdown" that was not taken well by industry types , but find themselves with a stable fanbase that respects the views and subject matter of their songs. The band has been featured on a couple of compilations and have made numerous demos over the years . The CRUSTERz are more than just a band , Discorporate Records , and Crusty Productions (stage & Lighting) is also run by the members and continue to always work with bands in a communal instead of capitalistic way. Punk is not a fashion statement it is activist way of life , you can spike up ,tatoo as much as you like but if you believe in war and being a consumerist slave you are not punk. MySpace Layouts
