REVIEW IN MAXIMUM ROCK'N'ROLL: IN THE OCTOBER 2006 EDITION IT SAYS: "Twelve tracks of melodic anarcho-punk from Chicago. I don't actually know if these folks consider themselves anarchists, but everything from the subject matter, to the layout, to the writing in the accompanying booklet, derives its inspiration from the output of CRASS and their cohorts (especially Zounds and The Mob). Each song begins with a short spoken-word explanation, and tackles a specific subject that fuel's CHRIST!'s hatred for the capitalist system. The lyrics are extremely direct and the music is sparse, kinetic DIY punk. You might not agree with all of their lofty ideals, but you will find yourself singing along. I understand they distribute this CD for free to anyone that wants it, so you can't go wrong at that price... (AM)
The reviewer, MRR writer Allan McNaughton also put the Christ! CD in his Top 10!
