Let's go back to the moon…

About Me

It's been a long, long time since man has been on the moon. When eventually the time will come to go "back to the moon" a different, more advanced technology will be used than had been available for Neil Armstrong in 1969. It's the same with my music. In the 70ies I was a founder member of the band THIRSTY MOON. We developed our own style using strong rhythms and catchy tunes together with instrumental improvisation and sound experiments. BACK TO THE MOON is going back to these principles but at the same time I'm using today's computer technology.Es ist schon sehr lange her, dass ein Mensch auf dem Mond war. Wenn es irgendwann wieder "zurück zum Mond" geht, wird man eine andere, fortschrittlichere Technik benutzen, als sie Neil Armstrong 1969 zur Verfügung hatte. Das gilt auch für meine Musik. In den 70er Jahren war ich ein Gründungsmitglied der Band THIRSTY MOON. Wir entwickelten einen Stil, der eingängige Rhythmen und Melodien mit Instrumental-Improvisationen und Klangexperimenten verband. Mit BACK TO THE MOON kehre ich zurück zu diesen Prinzipien, aber zugleich verwende ich die Computer-Technik von heute.
