Influences: Many influences too many to put here, but let’s say that I grew up with a father deeply in love with all kinds of music, and he was my number one influence actually. He opened my spirit to all kinds of music I remember listening to Madonna and Micheal Jackson as a toddler, and my father drove us to school with Sade and Paul Young’s "Everytime you go away".Then came the 90’s and all it’s crazy stuff, Dance music was really en vogue at that time , so in the playground all the kids used to bop their heads to that (you know "I like to move it move it....whatever "it" was supposed to be), and then I came home and Mariah Carey was on or Celine, or you had french music on Tv. My dolce childhood came to an end with the boyband era (I know, i know...A cure has been found to the infection since then), the Backstreet boys and the Spice Girls died when Monica and Brandy started fighting over the boy. I got my groove back and ended up listening to loads of RnB and Soul music, that got me wondering about Rap. Eminem was on full blast when I started getting rebellious, but was chased away by Linkin Park. I turned to pop rock and rock when I needed more depth in Highschool, "Let the sun go down" by Kim Richey was my anthem then and I ended up idolizing Phil Collins and George Michael, they got blown away with Nirvana and their mtv’s unplugged.
At the same time I started hitting the clubs and became a total dancehall addict, but the riddims nearly all sounded the same and House music stole my heart. Rune’s Calabria drove me insane...till the Jazz and the Hard Rock music student’s played at my school brought me back to earth. I was petrified on stage when Metallica told me to let the sandman enter. And finally wooed the audience with Keziah Jones and his rythm is love. All this to say that music has been (and still is) a wonderful journey to me, I enjoyed every single step of it, and still am searching for what my ears haven’t experienced yet.
Sounds Like: Sounds like a tasty milkshake=a mix of lots of sounds but still is very different, and Unique. Lyrics are meaningful, impactful and clever.Vocals are smooth, edgy and blend with the music perfectly.
