The Home Guard

About Me

The Home Guard are an indie/Britpop band with a hint of a prog rock influence. Hailing from Peterborough, England, we aim to write musically and lyrically interesting songs designed to keep the listener thinking, whilst retaining a slightly quirky edge.
A Head of Steam - The Home Guard's debut album - is available for download now.
Lots more music, news, work-in-progress demos and plenty of extras are available at The Home Guard Official Website .

Fan-Made Videos
This is a fan-made video of our cover version of the Beatles classic For No One. You can view the video in high quality here (it's worth it!) and download the mp3 and/or video for free here . Many thanks to Robert Grimes of Houston, Texas, for putting this together for us!
And here's one for Champagne Socialist by the same person!
Many thanks to our good friend Acuvi for editing together this video of Poor Man's England for us! (Incidentally, if anyone reading this wants to make a video/slideshow for any of our songs, we're not going to stop you! If you let us know about it, we'll either link to it or embed it.)
