Please visit www.kevinmckeever.com for recent updates, lots of new music and a much better layout. If you insist however, here's a bio for you to read:
My music career began with piano lessons at age 6, and by high school I was competing at a high level in competitions around the country. At age 16 I played in Carnegie Hall as one of the winners of the AMSA International Piano Competition, and shortly thereafter I took a break from classical piano and picked up the guitar. These days I play both instruments (as well as a few others) in a multitude of situations and a variety of genres; everything from Hip Hop and Classical films scores to playing on stage with Larry Klein, Dean Parks, Vinnie Colaiuta, India.Arie and Mark Isham for the Julia Fordham DVD and concert CD "That's Live" released in 2005. More recently I've appeared on the soundtracks for Sony Classics "Imaginary Heroes", playing synths on the Danny Elfman/Deborah Lurie score for "IMAX Deep Sea 3D" and touring the East Coast with Rob Dickinson of The Catherine Wheel in the fall of 2005.
